The Lake Constance Festival, better known as Bodensee-Festival, annually and under changing topics displays about 80 events at up to 35 venues. The festival sees itself primarily as an interdisciplinary arts event that every year presents orchestral, chamber and organ orchestras, jazz, theatre, dance and literature as essential parts of its unique program.

Set within four and a half acres of lush green space, Windmill Hill City Farm is a voluntary community project committed to addressing the needs of local residents through various social, environmental, and educational initiatives. Carolina Beach is the perfect beach for a family vacation, where both tourists and locals can spend a marvellous day. In the summer months it is especially popular among locals. Restrooms and shower facilities are provided here. Also a small water park can be found off the 2nd parking lot.
